CREATE YOUR EXTRAORDINARY

Last week, I had the fantastic opportunity to visit Farnborough International Studios, set within the iconic surroundings of Farnborough Airport—and it’s safe to say the phrase of the day, “Create Your Extraordinary,” couldn’t have been more fitting.

What made the visit even more meaningful for me personally was seeing, first-hand, a part of the world we help bring together every day. In travel, we’re often one step removed, working behind the scenes to get cast, crew, and equipment where they need to be, often at pace and under pressure.

Being at Farnborough International Studios brought that into sharp focus. It was a reminder that every booking, every itinerary, every last-minute change plays a role in something much bigger. We’re not just moving people—we’re enabling the creation of something extraordinary.

I truly am so grateful to have been invited. Right from my arrival Rachel and Charlotte were so warm and clearly passionate.

MORE THAN JUST SOME STUDIOS

What really stood out to me was how thoughtfully the facilities support not just production but the logistics behind it. Farnborough International Studios isn’t just offering stage space; it’s a fully integrated environment designed to minimise movement and maximise efficiency.

With production offices, workshops, and support spaces all on-site, alongside direct access via Farnborough Airport, the usual complexities of moving large crews, talent, and equipment are significantly reduced.

From a travel perspective, that’s huge. Fewer moving parts mean fewer pressure points which is something anyone in production knows can make or break a shoot. When everything is centralised like this, it allows for tighter schedules, smoother transitions, and far greater flexibility when plans inevitably change.
